22nd German Championship Nail-Design 2008
On 26th October 2008 the German Nail Design Championships takes place for the 22nd time during the BEAUTY FORUM MUNICH.
Beginner or skilled professional?
To be sure that beginners as well as old hands have a fair chance in the championships our competition runs since 2005 in two sections - one for "beginners" and one for "professionals".
"Beginners": all nail designers who have less than two years professional experience
"Professionals": those nail designers who have had two years´ experience or more in their job.
All competitors must have undergone professional training and are German citizens. Furthermore, competitors in our championships will be required to provide evidence of the amount of time they have spent working professionally as a nail designer, in order that they can be entered in the correct section.
Tip technique vs. template
All participnats of the championship will be able to choose in which category they wish to compete. Either the nails will be modelled with gel or powder/liquid using the tip/overlay technique, or created with powder/liquid and a nail sculpture template. The main objective will be the same as previously, i.e. to model technically perfect nails in line with the evaluation criteria laid down, and within a period of two and a half hours.
Heading for the podium...
There are all kinds of new prizes awaiting our winners. Everybody will automatically receive a Nailpro T-shirt, a certificate of participation and a medallion.
For the winners of the "Beginners" and the "Professionals" sections there will also be lots of other goodies such as a winner's cup, and prizes in the form of cash or useful professional items worth 450 and 500 Euros.
The winner of the "Beginners" section will be able to enter the 2009 Professional Cup free of charge, and the winner of the "Professionals" section will be invited to enter the 2009 European Professionals Cup Nail Design.
And, last but not least, there will also be a full photo report about the championship winners in BEAUTY FORUM and BEAUTY FORUM Nailpro.
